Smut Marathon 2019: The Writers

Less than two months ago, on 2 December 2018, we announced the winner of the Smut Marathon 2018, and here we are, read to introduce the participants of the Smut Marathon 2019!

We started the 2018 edition with 87 writers, and I am proud to announce that this year we have 116 writers who have signed up for the challenge. People who know me a bit, know I love statistics, and of course I have done so again:

  • 26 of the writers of the first edition of the Smut Marathon have returned for the 2019 edition;
  • 90 writers are new to the Smut Marathon;
  • up to now I have a total of 177 writers on my list, the names of the entrants of the 2018 and 2019 editions of the marathon

The jury members have been introduced in the last weeks. They are:

Only Molly has been on the jury before; all the other jury members are new to the ‘game’.

Smut Marathon WritersIt’s high time I introduce you to the writers of the Smut Marathon 2019, right, but before I do that, I want to point out two things to you, which are of the utmost importance to the writers, but it’s good for readers/voters and jury members to be aware of them too:

  • Rules (please take special note of points 3.6 and 3.7)
  • Planning (jot down the dates in your calendars, writers)

Then, let’s get to the most important part of this post: the participants. They are listed in alphabetical order. Go follow them on social media and go read their blogs!

Here they are…

Aimée Maroux

Website: Erotic Mythology Blog
Twitter: @AimeeMaroux

Aimée Maroux writes obsessively researched erotica about sexy Greek gods and goddesses based on Greek mythology.
Some are erotic retellings of original myths, some are fantasy based on Greek mythology.

Her favourite Greek myth is the Odyssee where the titular hero, Odysseus, has to overcome a plentitude of challenges on his way home from the Trojan War.

If you love Greek mythology and enjoy erotic fiction, her books are for you!

Alalya Minette

Website: Erotica by Alalya Minette
Twitter: @alalya_minette

Alalya Minette is a young woman living the beautiful (rainy) west coast of Canada. She spends her time rolling around her adorable princess bed on downy duvet covers giggling into the pages of some nasty romance novel. She loves anything sticky, glossy, and covered in glitter. Outside of some small local writing contests, most of her stories are written in secret and shared with the select few who share her kinky tastes.

Alex Rei

Website: By Alex Rei
Twitter: @authoralexrei

Alex Rei is a author of romances and erotic romances. They study literature and creative writing at their university and write as often as their schedule will allow, but when they’re not writing they’re usually working on their degree or knitting with friends. They are focused on romance because they believe there can never be enough content to daydream over, fall in love with, and cherish- especially if there’s a lot of fluffy scenes and happily ever afters that make your heart melt. They write mostly lgbt+ romances, being nonbinary and a sapphic demisexual themselves, with occasional the BDSM and polyamorous stories. But the main focus of all the books written and to be written is the love between people, and how that love adds such beauty to life. These stories are the product of a romantic and vividly imaginative mind, and are made with care.

Alun Norley

Website: Alun Norley – Let’s See Things a Little Differently
Twitter: @AlunNorley

Alun Norley is an occasional writer of erotica, horror and anything else that piques his interest. He is also an amateur photographer, astronomer and full-time dogsbody. He lives in Middlesex with his family and two dogs. He has always loved the sea and one day hopes to give up his day job to move to a sleepy seaside town where he can spend all day reading and writing whatever naughty stories take his fancy.

A.M.Harding

Website: A Shot of Erotica
Twitter: @A_M_HARDING

An occasional writer of erotica, I haven’t created anything new for some time. Flash fiction is my preferred format for erotica, short, intense and super concentrated – the same way I like my coffee. This year represents a new start for me in many respects and returning to writing is one of my plans.

AmorousKestrels

Hi there, I’m AmorousKestrels, and I write erotic comics. I’m looking forward to a new foray into prose-only smut; it’s going to be a fun challenge to convey the juiciest moments without being able to illustrate them visually. My favourite themes are romance, fantasy, wit, and superheroes. I’m hoping to develop some more interesting kinks as the marathon progresses…

Amy Norton

Website: Coffee & Kink
Twitter: @CoffeeAndKink

Amy Norton is a sex blogger, journalist, occasional erotica author, and filthbeast extraordinaire. She writes about BDSM, consensual non-monogamy, consent, feminism, ethical porn and more on her website, Coffee & Kink, and well as writing for a range of adult platforms including Hot Octopuss, Lovehoney, Parlour Talk, Sex Tech Guide, The Big Fling and others. Amy describes herself as an ethical slut, a polyamorous swinger, a queer femme and an intersectional feminist. She lives in the UK with her primary partner and giant collection of vibrators.

Andra Ashe

Website: Andra Ashe

A self-confessed genre-hopper, Andra’s erotic romances span historical, contemporary and paranormal.
When not arm-wresting her Muse over plot lines, or who gets to wear the stilettos, Andra can be found wielding a paint brush at her latest renovation site. She sees renovating as a lot like writing; you start with something that’s rough around the edges and pummel it into submission. Andra lives in Melbourne (Australia) with her wonderful man and her never-ending TBR pile and hopes her adult children aren’t too traumatised by having a mother who writes smutty stories.

Angelw

Website: AngelWriter Creations
Twitter: @angelwriter78

A contributing writer to a magazine/part-time freelancing, full time educator. Likes to explore different areas of life, writing, and anything that is “non-mainstream” because once it becomes “mainstream.” It’s just not that fun anymore. Currently lives with a lover in which we’ve been together for quite a while now and are learning to adjust to our surrounds, and when we have time, are not afraid to do some “interesting exploring.” While I could write more, I’ll let my creative writing do more of the talking for me than a bio.

Annie Savoy

Website: Annie Savoy: Emphrasis Inverted
Twitter: @asavoywrites

I’m a 47-year-old woman whose job takes me all over the world so I live in hotel rooms. I have a project on my blog called Ekphrasis Inverted where I take photos of myself using an iphone, a tripod and a self timer and then pair these pictures with quotes and poems. I write on the pictures using an Apple Pencil because I want to see the words incorporated into the pictures rather than just as a caption. This project has definitely changed the way I photograph myself and caused me to think more deeply about the effect of words when paired with a visual image. The name Annie Savoy is a pseudonym. She’s a character from the movie Bull Durham. I admire her sexuality, passion and spirituality and I identify with her desire to make her mark on the world.

April Garrus

Twitter: @AG_Hot_Flashes

An aspiring God-Empress, April Garrus has traveled the world and sought its secrets. She attempted many paths (MMA, pro wrestling, teaching) before embracing her talent for writing dirty stories. Now she cranks out hot, dirty smut on the regular while finding joy in being. She likes coffee, metal, and kung fu movies.

Astrid

Twitter: @astridhobbit

Your bio (50-300 words): I am a stay-at-home parent and part-time crafter. I enjoy wistfully looking at piles of books while wishing my kids would give me time to read them, longingly gazing at board games and TTRPG sourcebooks, and cross-stitch.

Athelgyth Alot

Even though not on paper, Athelgyth is a Scottish lass at heart. She knew she’d spent her life in that magical country the moment she moved there as a uni student. She lives and breathes the Scottish haar for the last 20 years. Athelgyth entered the world of writing through writing fanfiction. Armed with a love for all things sensual and an overactive imagination, for the last few years she’s attempting to build her own fictional worlds.

Aurora Glory

Website: By Aurora Glory
Twitter: @AuroraGloryBlog

Aurora reviews sex toys, reads books and drinks way too much caffeine. She loves unromantic erotica, especially when she gets to put fantasy to paper herself. Once the sex-obsessed, now the sexless, Aurora uses the magic of the internet and blogging to stay connected with her hidden sexual self.

Bella Gattina

Twitter: @BellaGattina74

Submissive to @whipithound . Kitten, little and bisexual. I’ve enjoyed my submissive journey with Sir and would now like to put some of these experiences to paper. Inexperienced writer, looking forward to a challenge! Here with Daddy’s encouragement.

bluesubmission

Website: bluesubmission

I’m blue of bluesubmission, and I just started my blog in November of 2018. I’ve never been much of a writer, I think the last creative writing class I took was at a community college in 2004, but I’ve always been creative and I certainly have a lot of dirty thoughts spiraling about in my head! I have a B.F.A. in Interior Design, and what I’ve enjoyed most so far about blogging are the prompts via the amazing memes created by bloggers that I so admire. It brings me back to my days in art school where I had to create a piece or design based on the prompt given by the professor. As a working adult, it is sometimes difficult to find ways to exercise the creative mind, and that’s what I hope to get out of the Smut Marathon. I really want to tap into my dormant creativity and push myself to do something I’ve never done before. Making some new friends along the way won’t be too bad either!

Cal

Twitter: @uncmfrtblynmb

An Englishman living in New England, Cal attempts to maintain a sense of the old world in an increasingly fast-paced technosphere. Nature inspires him, humans bewilder him.
He has done a lot of soul-searching over why he chooses to write, concluding that he writes for pleasure, for relief, and most importantly for sanity. This will be Cal’s first Smut Marathon.

Carolyna Luna

Twitter: @carolyna_luna

Carolyna Luna (pen name) is a bisexual Latina who enjoys reading smut and has tried her own hand at writing a time or two…or twenty. She’s best known for starting stories and never finishing them, which drives her best friend batty and is in contradiction to most other aspects of her everyday life. Carolyna admits to feeling intimated about entering a writing competition, but through the dogged study of Yoda memes and similarly important geekery, she’s found the courage to give it a go. She hopes that doing so motivates her to write more consistently, refine her writing style, practice mechanics, and embrace the intellectual and emotional vulnerability of sharing her writing with others (gulp). Driven by perpetual wanderlust and a deep curiosity about the mechanics and whims of the sexual brain, Carolyna’s goal is to finally *finish* a polished story that might entertain and ultimately titillate someone along the way. Find her on twitter @carolyna_luna (new pen name account) where she awkwardly, semi-anonymously, and only quite intermittently, attempts to engage in literary and kinky twitter while admirably restraining her fetish for exclamation points.

Chloe Sheila

Twitter: @ChloeSheila_

I’m a feminist, nerd and trainee teacher, looking for a way to hone my writing skills and give my writing some kind of focus. I’ve only ever written for specific people, or for my own amusement, though I would like that to change. I am looking forward to the challenge.

Chris Stevens

Website: Chris Stevens
Twitter: @cjwritesnthangs

Chris Stevens is a novelist/journalist/podcaster based in Wilmington, Delaware. He has self-published 6 works of fiction, including the short story compilations I’m Feelin That! and When Innocence Becomes Experience. Chris enjoys writing relateable fiction centering Black people and the Black experience.

Courtney Maguire

Twitter: @pretentiousaho

Courtney Maguire moved to Austin, Texas in 2001 where she attended the University of Texas at Austin. In 2014, she wrote for an online music magazine, Project: Lixx, where she provided album reviews, artist interviews and live event coverage. She has since switched her focus entirely to fiction and is currently braving the query trenches in search of that elusive ‘yes.’

Cousin Pons

Twitter: @Books1799

I have been writing smut for just over a year now. I so enjoyed taking part in Smut Marathon 2018 that I have decided to gird my loins and enter this year’s competition as well. I have a keen interest in history, so quite often my stories take place in the past where they are often laced with what I think of as humour.

C Pells

Twitter: @CPells2

I write dirty books for fun and profit, though I’ve had much more fun than profit. My books are usually BDSM or horror erotica, but I dabble in other genres. Much of my SME is from personal experience, and my first series is written FP to clear my head of dusty memories and aching nostalgia. I like to write while listening to EDM or remixed vintage tunes, and sushi is life.

Daire Faust

Website: SmutGeek
Twitter: @TheSmutGeek

I am an erotic romance story teller, adult toy and book reviewer, sex blogger, and freelance kink writer. As a fat, bisexual, woman inspired by real life sex and BDSM experiences, I love writing characters like myself and my friends in books after years of seeking out characters like us and not finding them. All about that Nerdy, Dirty, and Curvy!

Darkly Desirable

I’ve previously written erotica, but not for a number of years. I was blown away by the standard of Smut Marathon 2018’s entries and hope taking part in 2019 will get me writing again, awaken my creativity and elevate the standard of my writing. Be gentle with me please – hell, it’s not often I say that!!

dommewithdogs

Website: dommewithdogs

I’m an on-again/off-again (okay so mostly off-again) blogger who spends her time baking or hanging out with her dogs when she’s not doing everything else life entails. Hopefully participating in the Smut Marathon will help with the off-again issue, and allow me to challenge myself as a writer.

Drew B

Website: Asexual Human
Twitter: @asexualhuman

I am Drew B. I am a data nerd looking to incorporate fictional writing into my repertoire as I learn to explore and process my thoughts on my sexuality. Today, I feel that I am both demisexual and bisexual. I like to use the term demibisexual when referring to myself.

I am from the Land Down Under where you will find me living with my wife and offspring, and dating a polyamorous woman while struggling to find who I really am.

Drew Stone

Drew Stone is both very new and very old. Drew has worked with sex positive intent for many decades: as a teacher, a health specialist, as the founder of a gallery, in theatre and events, in outreach as a sexual health worker, a researcher and activist, all leading to becoming the founder of a sex positive business, Luke and Jack, in Glasgow.

However, only in very recent years, something completely new happened; Drew has slowly begun to write again.

This new experience was something that had been put away like a fading polaroid photograph, and almost forgotten. Forgotten, so as to make space the news clippings for all the other projects, and madness, for loss, for life. Drew only dared open this box occasionally, rest a few fingers on its frayed edges, and then close it again. Writing has been emotional and painful as this box contains memories Drew had, at one point in his life, decided to pack away forever. Writing has also been uplifting, a celebration and rejuvenating experience. Coming back to telling stories has, this time around, been more joyous: Older Drew curling an arm of protection and forgiveness and gentleness around Younger Drew.

Drew chooses to write as Drew Stone to give a breath, a slither, of separation that gives permission to write poetry and prose, but also memoir, as well as fiction.
And sex.
This is Drew’s first Smut Marathon. It sits on the far edges of any comfort zones Drew has.

The box is open. Old Drew is letting New Drew have an adventure, and neither Drew could ever read a compass.

E.L. Byrne

Website: Longtitude and Lustitude
Twitter: @elbyrne1

E.L. Byrne writes about polyamory and ethical non-monogamous relationships as well as lots of smutty goodness on her two blogs. She loves to travel and some people call her an experience junky! It could be true in many ways… (wink wink) Everything she experiences is fodder for her writing!

Eliza David

Website: Eliza David, Lady Writer
Twitter: @elizadwrites

Eliza David is the erotic romance author of eleven self-published novels, including the Cougarette series. She was born and raised on the noisy South Side of Chicago, but now lives in quiet Iowa City, one of the renowned Cities of Literature. A member of the Romance Writers of America (RWA), Eliza also maintains a local literary presence, serving on the Iowa City Public Library’s Board of Trustees, moderating the romance writing group at the Iowa Writers’ House, and serving as an annual headlining author at the Iowa City Book Festival. In addition to writing the naughty words, Eliza is a blogger as well, having served as a contributing writer for Real Moms of Eastern Iowa, The Good Men Project, and Thirty on Tap. She was most recently featured in Best Women’s Erotica, Volume 4. Her next project, The Lamar St. Jon Experience, was selected for mentorship by Pitch Wars.
When she’s not writing, working full-time, or raising two children with her loving husband, Eliza enjoys reading throwback Jackie Collins, acting out on Twitter, and indulging in the occasional order of cheese fries.

Elliott Henry

Website: Life of Elliott…
Twitter: @elliotthenry36

Once again, into the fray of the Smut Marathon to see what I will find. I enjoyed much of my first foray into competitive sex writing. It was interesting to read so many stories written to the same prompt, fun to be challenged.

E T Costello

Website: E T Costello – Romance, erotica, weird fiction
Twitter: @etcostello1

Eustace Tamberlayne Costello is a large man, running to seed and desperately hanging on to his youth, not through exercise but through reminiscence and fantasy. The fucking idiot. Mind you, he’s far better at atmosphere and delirium than he is at press-ups. So there’s that.

Eve E.

Eve Ray

Website: Eve’s Temptations
Twitter: @EveRay1

Eve came late to writing about sex, if not to sex, and has been blogging and writing smut for nearly 6 years. She is a domme on the BDSM scene who likes to think of herself as a smiling sadist. Away from sex and kink she likes to wear 50s frocks and meet up with girlfriends for tea and cake.

Twitter: @GaynorBlue

Ghostly Onetwo

Twitter: @GhostlyOne2

I am a sexaholic, a sex addict of the highest category.!
Until the age of 35, I was devoutly religious, and held people of moral turpitude in great contempt!
At that time, I discovered that my own secret fantasies and desires we in complete opposition to what I had been taught and pretended to believe.
Shortly after that, I had my first extramarital affair. Closely followed by my second and third.
Once the penile-genie was out of the lamp (pants), I couldn’t keep it contained.
By the time I was 40 years old, I was visiting escorts. I couldn’t find enough “civilian” ladies to satisfy my raging desire.
Sex with my wife remained a pretty vanilla variety, but I am obsessed with getting sex from other Ladies.
I visited escorts between one and four times each month.
In that ten year, I fucked over 300 unique, different Ladies, many of those, several times.
And I “donated” over $160,000 to that noble cause.
Over the next 10 years or so, I was keeping a spreadsheet to track the different Ladies that I had been with, along with dates, donations given, ratings, specialties, and how many times I visited them.
Although I did work, and excelled in Aerospace engineering, I pursued sex with more attention than I did my engineering, and I was meticulous in keeping my spreadsheet current.
As my experiences mounted up, my tastes and desires also grew.

Gilly Langley

Website: Stagey sex PinkGilly15
Twitter: @pinkgilly15

If your looking for me I’ll be found in a charity shop with the pink or sparkly things. I’m mum to 2 great kids. I made some big changes in 2017 leaving a 21 year marriage. It’s the best thing I ever did. But it was very very hard. I learnt a lot about resilience and patience in that year.
I love the theatre I even work in one. I have lots of energy and like to burn the candle at both ends. Experimenting with kink is how I like to spend my spare time. I need a challenge in 2019.

Gwen Culver

Gwen lives in ever-sunny Southern California, dreaming about the rain that never comes but grateful enough to leave the rest of the weather to the rest of the world. She spends too much time in her own head and not nearly enough of it on useful or practical things, but sometimes useful and practical are overrated anyway.

Hannah Lockhardt

Website: Hannah likes dirty words
Twitter: @HannahLockhardt

Hannah Lockhardt is armed with a not unimpressive degree in Creative Writing as well as an undeniable kink for words and nothing better to do than muck about with them to her heart’s content. She harbours unnatural and complex desires towards men who make her laugh and channels this into her work as a coping mechanism.
For more than half her life, she has concentrated on crafting stories about sarcastic women having blisteringly hot and completely satisfying fucks in as many different and debauched ways as possible – no mean feat when she only started having sex in 2017. Her major influences are vintage underwear, deviant Victorians, dark irreverent comedy, baked goods, Alan Bennett and the music of George Formby. She lives in The North(TM) and has an unplaceable accent.

Ian Jade

Twitter: @jadewhisk

Ian is still trying to work out where his writing fits best, and has played around with short stories, poetry, and puns. Lots of puns.

He is physically incapable of producing anything without a deadline, and hopes the Smut Marathon will provide the necessary encouragement to get him writing again. After all, it does combine two of his favourite things – smut, and old-school chocolate bars.

Ina Morata

Website: Ina Morata
Twitter: @InaMorataWriter

I am a very proud indie author of erotica and other works of love, lust and matters of the heart. I love creating stories and posting naughty words to my blog, and am delighted to have had my work included in the Eroticon anthologies.

You can usually find me writing smutty goodness at the kitchen table, in the library, on the bus – in fact, pretty much anywhere except the desk I’m meant to write at!

My biggest vices (or those I’m prepared to own up to!) are buying more books than I have room for, and drinking obscene quantities of tea. Anything else, I’ll leave to your imagination…

Jade Melisande

Website: Pieces of Jade
Twitter: @piecesofjade

It’s been so long since I’ve written one of these, and I feel like who I was then – the last time I wrote one – and who I am now, are vastly different people. Which isn’t true, of course.
Or maybe it is.
Okay, I’ll get on with it: I am a long-time sex/relationship blogger and multiply published writer of smut/porn/erotica, whatever you’d like to call it. I think each has their own flavor, and I enjoy writing all three. I write words that make me wet, and hope they will do the same for my readers. That said, it’s been a number of years since I have published (or even written) any fiction, and I’d like to work my way back into it. Lubricate the rusty sex-writing muscles, as it were. This is a first, cautious, step in that direction.

In terms of who I am as a human, I’m a single kinky woman in a long-term poly relationship with two men, one of whom I call Owner. I write a blog at pieces-of-jade.com about my life; previously I blogged at KinkandPoly.com for several years. I’m also the mistress/manager/curator of The Scavenger Hunt – a sexy Scavenger Hunt like no other, for which you can find the rules on my blog.

Jayne Renault

Website: Jayne Renault – Musings of a Smut Queen
Twitter: @jayne_renault

Jayne Renault is a self-proclaimed reckless lover, boisterous laughter, smut editor, and long-winded wordsmith.

In her writing, you’ll see a lot of anonymous narrators, bisexual babes, scandal and infidelity, smug masturbation sessions, and a touch of dark magic. A good metaphor will turn her on more than a pretty face ever could and one of her alter-egos is the resident Smut Queen at Bellesa.

Jennie Talia

Website: Optimistic Author
Twitter: @arecusant22

Short story writer who dreams of writing “that book” someday. It will draw readers in and make them forget about this crazy world for a few minutes and they will be hooked on the escape from reality. Four short stories have been published in two anthologies, Writings to Stem Your Existential Dread and Dread Naught but Time. The next step is sharing erotica that will inspire others to live out their deepest, darkest fantasies.

Jezebella

Website: Miss Jezebella
Twitter: @miss_jezebella

I’m a sex and personal blogger who occasionally pens erotica.

My blog contains reviews of sex toys and other adult products, personal blog posts about my life and the adult industry, and a few erotic stories for when my creative spirit takes me over. I also regularly host giveaways where you can win fantastic adult prizes.

I identify as pansexual and gender queer, although these labels are little more than useful indicators of my identity and sexual preferences. I’m married to a man who identifies as polyamorous. I have depression and polycystic ovary syndrome, and these topics sometimes feature in my personal blog posts, alongside body positivity, and sexual health and exploration.

Jo Henny Wolf

Writer of erotica and erotic romance, published here and there, eternally fascinated by the carnal carnival of sexuality and kink. Likes include melodrama villains, whips, menacing words softly spoken, swooning, corsets, enigmatic foreign gentlemen. Dislikes include spam (all kinds) and bad manners. I have a secret double life as a normal person.

Karsyn Stiles

I’m Karsyn – a nice girl with a very, very naughty muse, who sits on my shoulder, urging me to type out my wildest fantasies. Writing erotica gives me a little voyeuristic thrill. Making up characters. Watching them get naked, turn each other on, get each other off. Being the writer, I’m always in charge, the unseen dominant partner pulling all the strings in each tryst. That turns me on and gets me off and I hope each sensuous romp my imagination churns out will do the same for you.

I am a writer, blogger and author that loves writing and sharing and I want to learn more about writing. I have written poems since I was a teen and wrote a book that is on Amazon along with my stories on my blog. It took me reaching my forties before I sat myself down and tried to write a book. Now I want to improve my writing and see what more I can do. I have found that writing soothes the soul and helps me get my thoughts in line and out of my head. I have learned so much already with my blog and look forward to doing so much more.

I am a wanna-be writer using my life experiences and my fantasies to spin erotic stories. Being fairly new to the writing world, I’m looking forward to my second year participating in this wonderful opportunity.

The last few years of my life have been a learning process. I know the best advice I’ve gotten so far is if you have a dream then you need to do what you have to in order to achieve it. So here I am, putting myself out there hoping to learn from the best and hoping I get as far as I can. I am honored to be in the competition this year.

While my blog content is mostly reviews and sex education, I have written erotica in the past, and I’d like to write more! I’m hoping the Smut Marathon will be a great opportunity for me to experiment with writing smut.

kinquie

Website: kinquiebart

My nickname kinquiebart stands for the two aspects of the person I am: a crossdressing man. I love to dress up, but haven’t any doubt at all that I’m a man. Which doesn’t mean that my sexual activity is limited to the ‘opposite sex’. In my opinion there is no such thing as ‘opposite’ or ‘battlefield’ in this area. Yet the two elements of my nickname do not form a unity in every respect or at any given time. In my earlier life ‘kinquie’ and ‘bart’ were definitely mutually excluding persona (of course, I’m exaggerating a bit). Nowadays there’s much more unity between both, although most people I know only know me as Bart, other people only know kinquie and very few people know who both of them. Having said this: the process of getting older (and a bit wiser too, I hope) has brought me peace with myself. Paraphrasing a Dutch book, written in the seventies by a feminist writer, I am passed the shame (‘Ik ben de schaamte voorbij’). I have accepted who and what I am, I am even enjoying it and I’m certainly proud of it. And anyone who implicates that I should be ashamed of myself… Well… go your own way, I’ll go mine, and the twain will never meet. So, in short: I am Bart, a 63 y.o. Dutch crossdresser and bdsm-lover. I write a lot about these things and furthermore I have a broad interest in literature, whisky & wine, good food, history and so forth. I’m looking forward to take part in this contest.

Krystal Minx

Website: Krystal Minx
Twitter: @BisexualMinx

Since my early twenties, I’ve been attracted to women. During a rock concert that showcased silhouettes of two sexy women undressing each other, tingles filled me from head to toe, and I’ve never been wetter. To this day, when I hear that song, those images fill my head and I recall that very moment…I just KNEW!

Thirteen years later, I first acted upon these desires and the experience was passionate and incredible. It helped me discover my true self and brought several new relationships into my life. Fast forward another 12 years, fresh out of a divorce, I met a married couple that became my best friends in the world. Our bond grew, taking on a life of its own, and we spent seven dreamy years living together as a polyfidelitous triad.

Today I am with my one true soul mate who “gets me” better than anyone ever. He brings out the very best in me, and everything we do together is a total joy. He discovered the “Minx” inside of me that I never knew existed, and when LOVE and SEX are this mind blowing, I just had to share.

My blog is a product of our amazing life together and an exposé on my colorful life as a Bisexual Minx. Through it, I share real-life tales with the man I love and our fun-filled playmates, and all things about being the woman who finally discovered how to be ME and how I learned to live life to the fullest!

Starting out writing poetry when I was very young, I can remember my hands shaking when as a ten year old lad I handed a girl a poem written just for her. She giggled and kissed me on the cheek so it was a sign I could do this writing thing. While in high-school a teacher encouraged me to enter a Redbook poetry contest. To my shock and amazement I placed fairly well. Later things moved to short stories and so forth. I have a love of the macabre and many dark subjects. It brings me pleasure knowing I have made my readers shudder and squirm as I present tales of wicked dark delights.

I enjoy writing smut, but I also write sci-fi/fantasy. Books and music keep me sane, my friends and family keep me grounded.

ReadButLovely

Hi all, I expect to be an early faller in this contest ,leaving the field to the professionals. But I have enjoyed making up stories all my life but never really made a serious attempt to put anything down on paper. Like most people I have the delusion I “have a book in me”. This seems like a good place to try and find out. I am also a touch dyslexic so apologise for spelling mistakes (thought I would get that one in early, he he) or not realizing i have the American dictionary setting on. I have been on the BDSM scene for a number of years now so some of my writing might be based on real experiences or from the depths of my depraved mind. I look forward to hearing peoples reactions to my writing positive and negative and will take it all with a relaxed attitude that i have to life.
Happy writing.

Red Letter

After much humming and harring, here I am, throwing myself into what I can only consider a daring challenge and that’s after I was told to think more positively and not call it uncertain, daring, wobbly, mad even.
I’ve always loved writing. In the town where I became an adult, you could often find me in train stations, cafes, crowded passage places, with a fountain pen and a notebook that was almost falling to pieces from being used and abused. I’ve never really had anyone read my work though…let’s correct this, I’ve never had anyone judge my work, and very very few read my words!
But hey ho, brave face on, I’ll dare and double dare and I’ll take all the comments you see (and seem) fit to throw my way! Anxious and looking forward to it, explosive combination!!!

Although not a current sex blogger or writer, I’ve always found words, especially erotica, powerful. Hopefully the Smut Marathon will be a challenging way to improve my writing, as well as allow me to step outside of my comfort zone (which, in my experience, can be very fun), but mostly am looking forward to reading the variety of styles that this competition celebrates.

When I’m not thinking about smut, I’m walking, cooking, baking or organising adventures.

Wittie

Website: The Wonderful World of Wittie
Subject: @puppetpanpan96

Hello all, I’m Wittie and I’m relatively new to the world of blogging.
I started my blog for fun in 2017 when I told my partner I was kinky. At the time it was a way for me to write down my adventures in the world of BDSM. When I was discovering ddlg I couldn’t find any ddlg blogs that I could relate to so I started my own. I’m also really passionate about sexology and sex education. This blog was an informal way I could share my thoughts, experiences, and advice while still in college getting my degree. My perspective of the bdsm community was a bit different because of me being completely blind. I thought creating this blog and sharing tips would help other disabled kinksters go out in their respective communities. One day I looked up and noticed that people liked what I had to say. Ever since then I’ve been taking this blog more seriously. I’m in a polyamorous ddlg relationship and I write about it. I also write about being bisexual, going to fun play parties, and more mundane things like being a new mother, and my blindness. When I’m not writing you can find me hanging out with my tiny human, going to a kink event, or getting distracted on twitter.
Outside of blogging I like baking, singing, reading and binge watching investigation discovery and Live PD. I’m a bit obsessed with true crime, horror, disney, and music.

The sex blogging community has been great to me and I’m excited to be participating in my first Smut marathon. I’ve been dabbling in erotica. This is a good way for me to learn and expand my writing skills.
