Smut Marathon 2019: Results round 6

Back of woman's neck and shoulder with white lace wedding dress. We have come to the end of the rankings phase of the Smut Marathon 2019, and are entering the knockout phase, where writers have to leave the marathon at the end of all of the next rounds. And of course, now, at the end of the sixth round, where the writers had to write a story using the words ‘wedding dress’, fourteen writers will not continue to round 7.

News about the Smut Marathon 2018 anthology

I am delighted to tell you that currently I have the proof copy of the anthology in the email, and as soon as I have gone through it with a fine comb, we will be able to announce the publication date. Also, once it has been approved, we will announce the cover and more about the content of the book.

Are you as excited about it as I am?

For now, let’s get to the results of the sixth round!

Public vote

During the voting round I keep track of all the votes, and when I see irregularities or strange patterns, I take action. The action can either be a warning to a writer, the elimination of a vote or the disqualification of a writer. I do give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but will not tolerate any cheating. Please note that the rules clearly say: one vote per person.

That said, let’s get down to the result of the public vote.

Rankings

From the first to the sixth round writers accumulate points and at the end of the second, fourth and sixth rounds those at the bottom of the rankings have to leave the marathon.

This year we have a prize for the winner of the rankings rounds, since Satisfyer has gifted us so many toys that we can make this prize available.

The winner of the rankings rounds is Exhibit A

Next assignment

Thank you to everyone who have written for this round and thank you to all the voters who have taken the time to read the entries, to vote and for those who have given feedback.

The writers will be sent the seventh assignment later today and have until midnight CET (Amsterdam time) on 7 August 2019 to have it in my inbox (see the countdown in the sidebar).

The next voting round opens on 11 August 2019. Please make sure you take the time to vote, as your vote can determine whether a writer stays in the race or not!
